CloMic 200

CloMic 200 is a powerful pre measured powdered concrete dry mix. It is developed to repair or treat the concrete structures in the confined space which is difficult access for placing, vibrating and packing is difficult. It can also be used to reinstating the existing structure using various techniques. It forms a free flowing high viscous paste when mixed with optimum of water and reaches to the confined places where the placing is difficult. It achieves high strength and remains durable in all kinds of repairs.

Uses

CloMic 200 being a flowing micro concrete of high viscosity has all properties of the typical concrete and its high strength makes it suitable for all types of concrete structures or elements which needs repairs in an inaccessible areas. This product helps us in reaching to those points of treatment where the passage is very small. It is highly performing in corners of the form works, beam and slab joints, below base plates and other confined places as defined.

Advantages

  • Highly fluidic in nature and easy to flow or pump.
  • High strength gaining capacity
  • Gaseous expansion methodology for avoid shrinkage and cracks
  • Needs only the addition of clean water.
  • Bonds to substrate excellently.
  • Contains no chloride admixtures.

Properties

Compressive Strength : 50 N/mm2 at 28 days

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation
The repair surfaces that should be repaired have to be cleaned and wire brushed for any foreign materials in it. If the application surface is smooth it is advised to roughen it up using mechanical means before pouring. The area to be poured shall be provided with the proper formwork with the provision pump/pour the micro concrete. For the reinforcement rods, it shall be exposed to its full circumference and the corrosion if any shall be scaled out using mechanical means. Now with the help of the pouring tools and tackles, the prepared product shall be poured lavishly into the location which requires the treatment. The form shall be checked for any leakages if any and shall be sealed accordingly to avoid the wastage of the product. Remove the excess product around the treatment areas and keep it clean until de-shuttering.

Mixing:
CloMic 200 should be prepared by adding clean potable water. The dosage shall be 4.0 – 4.5 liters for every 25 kgs bags. The mixing shall be carried out in clean dry drum using the high speed mechanical mixer at 450 – 500 rpm for 5 minutes until the mixture is even and consistent without any lumps in it. Scrape out all the powder on the bucket walls and prepare the mixture to form an even free flowing liquid.

Form Work:
The formwork shall be prepared for the application surface as required at site. It shall be sealed for any leaks and seepage with a funnel opening on the top most level. This funnel takes the product and directs it to all the location through gravity without leaving any voids within the formwork. However air escape vents shall be made wherever necessary. The formwork shall be coated with MouldRel®, mould releasing agents by Clov for excellent concrete finish and easy release of the formwork.

Placing:
CloMic 200 once mixed with water to form the prepared material, shall be used immediately without delay. The product can be poured into the location using filling tools or can be pumped using pipeline and mechanical pump. Concerned site engineer shall take the call based on the quantity and location of the application. For any assistance in using the concerned product, do not hesitate to call the Clov representative should be placed immediately. If placed by pump, standard concrete pumping practice should be followed. The pump and pipeline must be primed with cement slurry. Pumping should be commenced immediately after priming. If poured in the form work, avoid air entrapment by pouring from one side only.

Low temperature:
working in cold conditions down to 15 degrees C, the use of warm water (up to 30 Degrees C) is advisable to accelerate strength development. Normal precautions for working with cementitious materials in winter should be adopted.

High temperature:
working at ambient temperature above 35 Degree C the material should be stored in the shade and cold water used for mixing.

Packing Size CloMic 200: 5 kg, and 20 kg

Precaution
Do not use CloMic 200 if the temperature is below 10ºC and falling.

Safety Precautions

Health and Safety
Instruction CloMic 200 contains cement mixtures which, when blended or get moist, discharge alkalis which can be unsafe to the skin. During use, avoid inhaling dust and direct contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable safety gear such as protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and nasal protective equipment. The use of barrier creams provides added protection to skin. In case of skin contact, rinse the surface with plenty of clean water, then clean with soap and water. In case of eye contacts with CloMic 200, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and look for medical advice. If swallowed, seek emergency medical attention and do not induce vomiting.

Fire
CloMic200 is non-inflammable.

Shelf Life
The shelf life of CloMic200 is 6 months provided that the pack is unopened.

CloPlug N7

CloPlug N7 is a ready to use mixture of dry powders that produces highly consistent, quick setting mortar that can be employed in almost any difficult condition. The mortar preparation requires only addition of water onsite. The product is manufactured as a blend of cement, fillers, aggregates and chemical additives that controls the setting rate and lowers the risk of thermal cracks.

Uses

CloPlug N7 is suitable as a temporary, quick plugging and patching solution for concrete segments and surfaces. They can also be used in plugging pipes, basements, foundations, mines, brick tunnel linings, sewage and water supply systems.

Advantages

  1. Emergency water stopping capacity.
  2. Needs only the addition of clean water.
  3. Bonds to substrate excellently.
  4. Reduced thermal cracks.
  5. Contains no chloride admixtures.

Properties

Setting Time : Approx. 1 - 2 minutes at 30ºC
Compressive Strength : 25 N/mm2 at 28 days at 30ºC
High heat output leads to undesirably increased surface shrinkage and furthers thermal cracking.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation
The repair surfaces that should be evened have to be cut to a depth of 15mm to obtain a good mechanical key. Do not allow any feather edges. Brush off uneven cut surfaces to remove dust or loose materials. Remove grease, slime and mould growth using a high pressure water jet or steam cleaning. Use a degreasing agent to remove light oil or grease contamination. To close leaks and cracks, openings must be carved out to approximately 20mm. The chase has to be undercut always to prevent leaving a V-section. Remove all loose material and concrete debris. Mixing CloPlug N7 should be added to clean water in the following proportions: 1: 3 (Water: CloPlug N7) (Measured by volume). To obtain an optimum consistency, keep mixing in a suitable container using a trowel or a gloved hand. Ensure only a required quantity is prepared within recommended set time as the mixture sets rapidly.

Mixture
Preparation The CloPlug N7, a single component cement based product requires only the onsite addition of clean water. The water and surface must be free of chloride and should have low heat reaction to minimize thermal cracks.

Application
Use a trowel or hand-knead for application of the blended mortar. It guarantees maximum contact with the substrate before the material sets. In case the mixture is utilized to plug running water, CloPlug N7 should be used and held in place until the first set is reached.

Cleaning
The CloPlug N7 mix on equipment and tools should be removed immediately after use. If the material hardens, it has to be removed mechanically. Contact Clov’s Technical Support Team for more information on the below provided address.
